2005 DiFronzo Pinot Grigio

This wine is produced in the Arroyo Grande Valley 8 miles from the Pacific Ocean where the cool Pacific Ocean breezes and the long temperate growing season, along with a shallow sandstone hillside planting produces a lean, crisp and mineral composed Pinot Grigio, true to its varietals character, much like the Pinot Grigio’s from the north of Italy. Stainless steel fermented and 100% malolactic fermentation, it has a floral bouquet with hints of lemon, and a crisp lean finish – Great with seafood appetizers and poultry.

2005 DiFronzo Syrah

DiFronzo Vineyards is located 8 miles from the Pacific Ocean where the Arroyo Grande Valley meets the Edna Valley. The long cool growing season the warm mild spring summer and fall days produce a syrah with great character. World renowned wine maker John Alban produces the wine while Giuseppe DiFronzo farms the little family vineyard. The Vineyard is almost dry farmed producing low yields with concentrated, and inky almost Amarone style, seductive and elegant Syrah, with white pepper, blackberry, currants, tobacco, eucalyptus and some smoky qualities.

2005 DiFronzo Pinot Noir

Tucked in the Arroyo Grande Valley between nearby Talley, Alban, and Domaine Alfred Vineyards, Giuseppe DiFronzo has a small amount of vines planted to these famous burgundian varietals. He farms the vineyard and strives to produce a Pinot Noir true to its varietals character with very low yields, taking advantage of the cool ocean breezes and fog that rolls in from the Pismo coast and burns off by late morning. The long temperate growing season produces a wine with soft femine qualities, good balance, Burgundian in style, with nuances of strawberries & Violets.
